Since its $754-million acquisition by South Korean internet company Naver in 2021, the company has become a global juggernaut. The AI company, founded in June of 2021 by University of Toronto computer science professor Raquel Urtasun, has raised $83.5 million from Uber and OMERS ventures, among other investors.
