We analyze the deterministic and stochastic components of the realizations of longitudinal vibrations of a rod weakened by a crack determined with the help of numerical solutions of a nonlinear differential equation with stochastic driving force. It is shown that the damping coefficient strongly affects the structure of forced vibrations, which leads to changes in the diagnostic parameters. We present the results of the analysis of dependences of the characteristics of vibrations on the frequencies of the carrier stochastic driving force and on the rate of decay of correlations in its envelope.
