Continuing his career of post-presidential grotesquery, Trump is once again begging Vladimir Putin for political assistance, requesting that the Russian caudillo take a minute off from his campaign of mass murder in Ukraine to share whatever dirt he might have on Hunter Biden. That Hunter Biden is a corrupt influence-peddler seems very likely, and it is also likely that Joe Biden is not without some culpability in that. According to a report in the New York Times, Biden-administration officials are considering lending support to the ICC's ongoing investigations. Donald Trump has disappointed Pennsylvania conservatives by doing exactly the sort of thing Donald Trump reliably does, in this case spurning the actual conservatives in the Republican race for the Senate seat being vacated by Pat Toomey and endorsing instead his fellow television personality, Dr. Mehmet Oz.
