The problem of identifying the coefficients that describe the action of a harmonic external force with a known frequency on a general self-oscillating system (Lienard oscillator) is considered. A method for constructing a nonlinear identifier that allows estimating the unknown variables from measurements of the output signals (the phase vector of the system) in real time is proposed. The method is based on the synthesis of invariant relations that allows relating the variables of a special extended dynamic system and determining the unknown variables as functions of known ones. The asymptotic convergence of estimates of the unknown coefficients to their true values is proved. The results of numerical simulation of the identification process for a Duffing oscillator are presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
