Slack development of creep-rupture prediction methods for metallic materials under long-term high-temperature loadings is emphasized. It is caused by essential simplifications used to improve the applicability of equations. Special systematization of known experimental data and refinement of deformation and softening features of these materials can be used to adapt the procedure.
