The Green tensor for an unbounded weakly anisotropic cubic crystal is used to obtain an expression for the energy of the elastic interaction of a point defect with a gas-filled pore. It differs by an additional factor from its usual analog generally attributed to Eshelby. The method of successive approximations is used to obtain the coefficients representing the asymmetry of absorption of point defects by a gas-filled pore in the weak interaction case.
